University of Virginia Appoints Scott C. Beardsley as 10th President

On Friday, the University of Virginia’s Board of Visitors appointed Scott C. Beardsley as the institution’s 10th president through a unanimous decision. Beardsley currently serves as the dean of the UVA Darden School of Business. He will officially begin his term on January 1.
