Cuthrell Joins Lou Henson Award Watch List

BOSTON – Chandler Cuthrell, a forward for Elon University, has been named to the Lou Henson Award watch list for the 2023-2024 season. This prestigious award recognizes the top mid-major player in Division I men’s basketball, as announced by CollegeInsider.com.
Chandler Cuthrell’s Impressive Performance
Cuthrell is currently excelling in his season performance. He is one of only four players in Division I averaging over 21.0 points per game, with a current average of 21.5 points. He also boasts an impressive 7.2 rebounds per game.
National Rankings

- 4th among Lou Henson Award contenders
Throughout the season, Cuthrell has consistently delivered. He has scored more than 20 points in nine out of eleven games, contributing to three double-doubles. Additionally, he has been active at the free-throw line, ranking 10th in the nation with 94 attempts and achieving a shooting percentage of 70.2% (66-of-94).
