Iowa Assistant LeVar Woods Joins Michigan State Football Staff

LeVar Woods, previously the Special Teams Coordinator at Iowa, has joined the Michigan State football staff. He will take on the roles of Assistant Head Coach and Special Teams Coordinator. Iowa’s head coach, Kirk Ferentz, confirmed this transition during a press conference.

Woods expressed gratitude for his time at Iowa, stating, “The University of Iowa gave me more than football, it gave me my life.” He is set to continue coaching the Hawkeyes in the upcoming ReliaQuest Bowl on New Year’s Eve, where they will face Vanderbilt.
