Subsequently, the suspect’s vehicle was towed to a yard at Flower Street and Sonora Avenue. On Tuesday, concern over suspicious items in the vehicle prompted the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Bomb Squad to intervene. Several surrounding areas were evacuated as the bomb squad conducted a thorough examination of the vehicle.
