‘Vampire Lestat Premieres on AMC Networks in 2026’

AMC Networks has announced that “The Vampire Lestat” will premiere in summer 2026. This anticipated season marks a rebranding from the previous seasons of the series inspired by Anne Rice’s iconic novels.

About the Series

The third season will follow the life of Lestat de Lioncourt, portrayed by Sam Reid. Set against a backdrop of modernity, Lestat will navigate his existence as a rock star while exploring his vampire origins from 18th century France.

Shift in Perspective

The cast will see the return of Sam Reid as Lestat and Jacob Anderson as Louis. They will be joined by:

  • Sheila Atim as Akasha, The Great Mother and Queen of the Damned
  • Noah Reid as Larry
  • Ryan Kattner as Salamander
  • Seamus Patterson as Alex
  • Sarah Swire as TC, likely a bandmate of Lestat
  • Jennifer Ehle as Gabriella
  • Ella Ballentine as Baby Jenks
  • Jeanine Serralles as Christine Claire
  • Christopher Heyerdahl as Marius
  • Damien Atkins as Magnus

Initial footage from “The Vampire Lestat” presents Lestat in a new persona as a charismatic rock star. This character displays flamboyance and intensity both on stage and behind the scenes. Viewers will witness scenes featuring Lestat’s interactions with Louis and Daniel Molloy, further enriching the storyline.

Where to Watch

Seasons one and two of “Interview with the Vampire” are currently streaming on Netflix and AMC+. Fans can look forward to watching “The Vampire Lestat” on AMC Networks and AMC+ in 2026.
