Compelling Video Boosts Will Reichard’s Pro Bowl Bid

As the deadline for fan voting in the Pro Bowl Games approaches, the Minnesota Vikings are actively promoting their kicker, Will Reichard, for recognition. Reichard, known for his remarkable high school and college career at Hoover High School and the University of Alabama, is garnering attention ahead of the Pro Bowl selections.

Will Reichard’s Record-Breaking Season

In just his second season with the Vikings, Reichard has made history as the first player in the NFL to successfully complete four field goals of 59 yards or more in a single season. He currently holds an impressive 4-of-4 record from this distance.

Throughout the 2025 season, Reichard has demonstrated consistency and skill, completing 22 of his 24 field-goal attempts while also converting all 23 extra-point attempts. His ability to kick long field goals has made him a standout player, ranking third in the league with eight successful kicks from 50 yards or more.

Competition and Challenges

Reichard’s success this season puts him in competition with Brandon Aubrey of the Dallas Cowboys and Chase McLaughlin from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. While McLaughlin leads with ten field goals from over 50 yards and Aubrey follows closely with nine, Reichard’s contributions have been vital despite the Vikings’ struggles on offense.

  • Field Goals from 59+ yards: 4
  • Total Field Goals Made: 22 of 24
  • Extra Points: 23 of 23
  • Field Goals from 50+ yards: 8
  • Current Points: 89 (Season)
  • Previous Rookie Season Points: 110

Voting for the Pro Bowl

Fans can vote for their favorite players until Monday, October 30. Reichard is among 74 players from Alabama high schools and colleges included on the ballot. Fan voting can be done online or through X (formerly Twitter) by tagging Reichard and using #ProBowlVote in their posts.

This year, the Pro Bowl voting process has expanded. Fans can also participate via the Madden NFL 26 Mobile app, where votes can be submitted using Ballot Tokens. Each voting method will count double during the final two days.

What’s Next for the Vikings?

The Vikings, with Reichard as a crucial asset, are set to face the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday evening at AT&T Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:20 p.m. CST, with NBC providing live coverage. The outcome of this matchup will further highlight Reichard’s skills and influence as he aims for Pro Bowl recognition.
