In an exciting development for the University of South Florida (USF) football program, new head coach Brian Hartline has made a significant hire. Jenna Learn, a USF alum, has been appointed to a senior executive position within the football operations team.

Jenna Learn’s Return to USF

This appointment marks a notable homecoming for Learn, who began her career at USF immediately after graduating. As a college graduate, she initially served as the football operations and recruiting coordinator.

Experience and Accomplishments

Prior to her return, Learn spent time at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), where she earned a promotion to assistant general manager in the football program led by Jeff Traylor. Her extensive background includes:

  • Being honored as a 247Sports 30-under-30 recipient.
  • Previous role as director of recruiting at Michigan State under Mark Diethorn.
  • Valuable Power Conference experience that she brings to the Bulls.

Brian Hartline’s Vision for USF

Hartline, who previously served as the offensive coordinator at Ohio State, prioritized adding Learn to his coaching staff. He began discussions with her last week and ensured her presence when he was introduced as head coach.

This strategic move aims to reinforce USF’s efforts to maintain momentum after a successful 2025 season, where the team secured nine wins and will compete in the Cure Bowl against Old Dominion later this month.

Looking Ahead

With Jenna Learn on board, the USF Bulls are poised to enhance their football operations. Hartline’s leadership and Learn’s expertise could be pivotal as the program strives for continued success in the competitive landscape of college football.
