El-Balad reports that the southern region of Quebec is bracing for significant snowfall. Environment Canada has issued a warning indicating that between 15 to 20 centimeters of snow is anticipated from Wednesday through Thursday.

The heaviest accumulation is expected in specific areas:
- Grand Montréal
- Outaouais Valley
- The Laurentians
In these regions, initial snowfall amounts from Wednesday night are expected to be between 1 to 2 centimeters. Following this, additional snowfall of 2 to 3 centimeters is predicted every three hours starting at 9 AM on Wednesday until Thursday.

Peter Kimbell, a meteorologist from Environment Canada, mentioned that the snow will not fall heavily but will continue consistently throughout the forecast period. On Thursday, light snow will persist, accompanied by winds that could lead to blowing snow conditions.

Due to the expected snowfall, road conditions may become challenging on both Wednesday and Thursday.
