Colts Activate LB Jaylon Carlies; Elevate Grupe, Wormley for Week 14

The Indianapolis Colts have made notable roster moves as they prepare for their upcoming game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The team has activated linebacker Jaylon Carlies from the Injured Reserve list, while also elevating kicker Blake Grupe and defensive tackle Chris Wormley from the practice squad.

Linebacker Jaylon Carlies returns to the active roster after spending the entire season on the practice squad. At 6 feet 3 inches and weighing 227 pounds, the rookie has shown promise. He was drafted in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, being the 151st overall pick out of Missouri.

Chris Wormley, standing 6 feet 5 inches and weighing 300 pounds, was elevated in Week 13 against the Houston Texans. His game performance includes:

  • One tackle for loss.
  • One sack.

Wormley has an extensive career, having played 88 games with a total of 31 starts. His career spans teams like the Colts, Baltimore Ravens, Carolina Panthers, and Pittsburgh Steelers. He was drafted in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft, 74th overall, by the Ravens out of Michigan.
