UC Davis has made a strong impression in their indoor season debut at the Silver State Invitational in Reno, Nevada. The team’s performance showcased numerous top finishes across various events, culminating in a successful weekend.

The Aggies showcased remarkable talent in the field events. Maya Ifo-Desai recorded a notable shot put throw of 11.65 meters, securing a top-10 finish. Chinyere Egbuziem closely followed with a throw of 11.16 meters, landing her in 13th place. In the triple jump, Aiza Sarwar achieved a distance of 11.22 meters, earning a seventh-place finish.
Track Events Highlights
UC Davis athletes also excelled on the track. The 600-meter race featured strong performances, with Dominika Janik finishing in eighth place, clocking a time of 1:37.92. Miriam Aquiree followed closely in ninth, with a finish time of 1:38.79. Haley Large rounded out the group, placing 13th with a time of 1:46.95.
