Brian F. Hau, a cherished family man and talented individual, passed away at the age of 60. He died on December 4, 2025, after a courageous battle with aggressive cancer. Brian spent his final moments in the comfort of his home, where he recently built a room providing a scenic view of his cherished property and local wildlife.
Remembering Brian F. Hau
Born to Frederick and Joan Hau, Brian was a resident of Van Dyne, Wisconsin. He married Janice Schinske on May 20, 1989, during a heartfelt ceremony at St. Joseph’s Church in Fond du Lac. Throughout his life, Brian was known for his remarkable skills and interests. He had a knack for engineering, an enthusiasm for racing, and a passion for his family and friends.
Legacy of Love and Talents
Brian’s love extended to various hobbies. He enjoyed:
- Wrenching on cars
- Planting food plots with his tractor
- Cooking and smoking meats
- Baking homemade bread from his mother-in-law’s recipe
Beyond his interests, he had a profound love for his wife, children, and grandchildren. His family included three sons—Joshua Jorgensen (Sandra), Justin Hau (fiancée, Mekenzie), and Brice Hau (Dakota)—along with seven grandchildren: Audrina, Lilina, Brentley, Tommy, Levi, Madalyn, and Zoey.
Survivors and Predecessors
Brian is survived by his wife, Janice Hau, and his mother, Joan Hau. He also leaves behind siblings Deann Balog (Jack) and Eric Hau (Stephanie), along with several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick, and siblings Julie Sternitzky and Kevin Hau, among other family members.
Funeral Arrangements
A visitation will be held on December 14, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will commence at 3:00 PM, also at the funeral home. After the service, cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and share memories.
