Team Europe is set to compete in the highly anticipated Mosconi Cup, aiming to secure victory against Team USA at Alexandra Palace. Historically, Team Europe has claimed the Mosconi Cup 17 times, notably outperforming Team USA, which has 13 titles. Shaw, captain of Team Europe, asserts confidence in his team’s abilities, stating, “We play our game and get in front; they’ll crumble.” He anticipates a solid start and predicts a final score of 11-6 in favor of Europe.

Format and Prize Structure

This year’s event offers a total prize fund of $300,000, with winners receiving $40,000 per player and runners-up earning $20,000 each. Matches will follow the World Nineball Tour rules, and the competition begins with a team match on Wednesday night.
