Seahawks Aim to Secure Quandre Diggs for Practice Squad

Brady Henderson reports that the Seattle Seahawks are actively working to sign veteran safety Quandre Diggs to their practice squad. This comes after Diggs was released by the Tennessee Titans earlier this season, allowing him to seek more playing time.

Quandre Diggs’ Career Overview

Diggs, 32, began his NFL journey as a sixth-round pick by the Detroit Lions in 2015. He signed a four-year, $2.395 million contract, later extending it in 2018 with a three-year deal worth $20.4 million. However, he was traded midseason to the Seahawks in 2019 in exchange for a fifth-round pick in 2021.

After joining Seattle, Diggs received a restructured contract that enhanced his injury protections, along with a voidable year added in 2022. He later secured a three-year, $39 million extension.

Recent Developments

In 2024, Diggs faced a pivotal moment as he entered the final year of his contract. The Seahawks released him during the offseason, leading him to join the Titans on a one-year deal. His tenure, however, was cut short when the Titans released him at the start of November.

Performance Statistics

In the 2025 season, Quandre Diggs played in nine games for the Titans, making four starts. His performance included:

  • 30 tackles
  • 1 pass defense

The Seahawks are currently dealing with injury challenges at the safety position. Signing Diggs could provide the much-needed depth and experience on the roster.
