Oasis Support Artist Headlines Summer Series Concert

Richard Ashcroft is set to headline the upcoming Summer Series concert on August 27 at Lower Castle Park. The event will also feature support performances from former Kasabian frontman Tom Meighan and Apollo.

Ashcroft gained prominence as the lead singer of The Verve, a band formed in 1990. Their 1997 album, *Urban Hymns*, received critical acclaim and included hit singles like “Bitter Sweet Symphony” and “The Drugs Don’t Work.”
