Tej Pratap Yadav’s Struggles in Mahua
A significant focus is on the Mahua constituency, where Tej Pratap Yadav’s party, the Janshakti Janta Dal (JJD), faces stiff competition. The competition is particularly fierce against the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) (LJP(RV)), helmed by Chirag Paswan, as well as the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM).

- Mukesh Kumar Raushan (RJD): In second place with 11,315 votes
- Amit Kumar (AIMIM): Holding 5,309 votes
- Tej Pratap Yadav (JJD): Trailing with 3,172 votes
Currently, Tej Pratap is lagging behind Sanjay Kumar Singh by over 13,000 votes, indicating a challenging contest. Since his split from the RJD earlier this year, he established the JJD and chose Mahua as his election battleground, fielding 21 candidates from his new party.
