Big Blue is set to celebrate the holiday season with the second “Miracle on Monarch Way” event. This festive gathering invites the entire Monarch community to join in the holiday cheer.

The event will take place on Saturday, November 15, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Old Dominion University Bookstore.

Activities and Attractions
During the event, families can take photos with Big Blue, who will be dressed in holiday attire. Each photo session includes two digital photos, captured by a professional photographer.
In addition to the photo opportunities, Old Dominion University students will read children’s holiday stories, creating a joyful atmosphere for attendees. Families can also explore new holiday-themed merchandise at the bookstore.
Food and Donations
Guests will enjoy samples of hot beverages from Town Center Cold Pressed, featuring the popular Monarch Morning Roast. Attendees are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy for the Toys for Tots donation program. Those who donate will receive a coupon for the bookstore.
All proceeds from ticket sales will support the Big Blue mascot fund, making this not just a fun event, but also a meaningful contribution to the community.
