The Pittsburgh Steelers have made significant changes to their roster, bringing in safety Sebastian Castro. This move follows Castro’s release from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Castro’s Journey to Pittsburgh

Castro began the 2025 season on the Steelers’ practice squad. He was signed to the Buccaneers’ 53-man roster on September 30. During his time with Tampa Bay, he participated in one game.

Before joining the NFL, Castro played college football at the University of Iowa. He was an undrafted free agent after the 2025 NFL Draft.
