Armed Assault Near Saint-Henri Metro Leaves Man Critically Injured

A man in his forties is critically injured following an armed assault near the Saint-Henri Metro station in Montreal. The incident occurred early Saturday morning, around 3:20 AM.

The Montreal Police Service (SPVM) responded to reports of an armed altercation on Charlevoix Street, close to Saint-Philippe Street. Upon arrival, officers found a 42-year-old man unconscious in a wooded area between the railway and the Metro station.
Injuries and Medical Response
The victim sustained severe upper body injuries caused by a sharp object. He was immediately transported to a nearby hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
