In the New Jersey gubernatorial race, Democrat Mikie Sherrill holds a slight edge over Republican Jack Ciattarelli. According to the latest Emerson College Polling/PIX11/The Hill survey, Sherrill garners 49% support from likely voters, while Ciattarelli has 48%. About 2% remain undecided.

Mamdani’s support has surged, increasing seven percentage points in recent weeks. In contrast, Cuomo’s backing has declined, particularly among Black voters, where Mamdani has increased his support from 50% to 71%. For voters under 50, Mamdani captures 69% support, while the numbers drop to 37% among older voters.

Both surveys have a credibility interval similar to the margin of error, set at +/- 3 percentage points for New Jersey and +/- 3.8 percentage points for New York City.
