New Details Emerge in Country Music Icon’s Fatal Plane Crash

The country music community was hit hard last month by the tragic loss of acclaimed singer-songwriter Brett James. At the age of 57, James died in a plane crash in North Carolina. He was accompanied by his wife, Melody Carole, 59, and her daughter, Meryl Wilson, 28, both of whom also perished in the incident.
Fatal Plane Crash Details Emerge
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has released a report shedding light on the circumstances of the crash. According to the findings, James was approaching Macon County Airport shortly before 2:48 p.m. The plane was flying at an altitude of around 6,800 feet when James communicated his plan to perform a 360-degree turn for landing.

Importantly, there were no indications of engine failure detected during the investigation.
