Halifax Regional Police have intensified their search for a missing newborn in the Clayton Park area of Halifax. Four individuals are currently in custody as part of the ongoing investigation. The situation began unfolding when authorities were alerted late Friday night about a woman in life-threatening condition after giving birth.

Law enforcement officials reported that the woman was hospitalized, but the newborn was not present with her. As of Saturday afternoon, the search area has expanded beyond Willett Street to include various locations within the neighborhood.
