Calgary Police Request Help Identifying Bridlewood Arson Suspect

Calgary police are seeking assistance from the community to identify a suspect involved in an arson incident in Bridlewood. This fire, which occurred on April 1, resulted in significant damage to a home and its detached garage.

Incident Overview

The fire took place around 3 a.m. in the 100 block of Bridlewood Avenue S.W. At the time of the incident, a family was inside the residence. Investigators revealed that two individuals entered the back yard and deliberately ignited the garage, also attempting to set fire to the house.

Description of the Suspect

Calgary police have released a photo of one suspect. He is described as:

  • Approximately 50 years old
  • About 180 cm (5 feet 10 inches) tall
  • Medium build
  • Short grey hair
  • Tattoo on the left side of his neck

At the time of the fire, he was seen wearing:

  • Grey hoodie over a blue T-shirt
  • Dark-colored pants
  • White sneakers
