Gemma Collins has expressed her anxiety about returning to the popular show, I’m A Celebrity… South Africa. The 45-year-old reality TV star revealed her feelings of fear and apprehension as she prepares to re-enter the jungle after a brief appearance in the 2014 series.

In her candid comments, Collins mentioned, “I was absolutely bricking it, I was petrified.” She shared her experience at Heathrow Airport, where she felt overwhelmed by doubt. This time around, she is determined to present a more authentic version of herself. “When you watch me, I’m shutting it down. It’s Gemma Collins as you’ve never seen her before,” she stated.
A Journey of Redemption
Reflecting on her original stint in the jungle nearly 12 years ago, Collins admitted she felt an emotional “black cloud” lingering over her head. “I’ve spent my whole life with this black cloud hanging over my head,” she explained. After being invited back, she felt compelled to seize the opportunity for redemption. She declared, “I must go back in that jungle. It was one regret that I had.”
Following her return, Gemma believes she has successfully proven herself to critics and reinforced her self-worth. “I got my redemption 100 percent. It was the best decision I ever made,” she said proudly.
