In response to severe weather conditions, the Anglophone School District West has announced early closures for most of its schools. This decision affects schools in weather zones 3 through 9. According to district communications manager Paul MacIntosh, the closures will occur on Wednesday.
Early School Dismissals
Schools in zones 1 and 2, which include Edmundston, Grand Falls, Plaster Rock, and Perth-Andover, will not be affected by this early dismissal.
Closure Times
- If a school typically dismisses at 3:30 p.m., students will now leave at 12:30 p.m.
- For schools that usually end at 2:45 p.m., the new dismissal time will be 11:45 a.m.
MacIntosh emphasized that parents of elementary-school students may receive further details regarding dismissal arrangements from their respective schools.
