Unite for Inclusive Communities this International Women’s Day

Residents of Causeway Coast and Glens can expect a Borough-wide public awareness initiative aimed at fostering connections and inclusivity. This project features eye-catching artwork displayed on local Translink buses, promoting the message that strong communities are built on openness, understanding, and mutual respect.

The initiative coincides with International Women’s Day, taking place on 8 March 2026. It emphasizes the critical role women play in developing inclusive and resilient communities. The campaign will last for four weeks, encouraging the public to support inclusivity in everyday life.

Community Support
Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens, Councillor Oliver McMullan, highlighted the initiative’s importance. He noted that it encourages community members to actively promote inclusion. Women’s Empowerment
