Amber Alert Issued in Tangipahoa Parish for Missing Child

An AMBER Alert has been issued in Tangipahoa Parish for a missing child, 2-year-old Christopher Cooper. The alert was issued by the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office following his abduction.

Details of the Abduction

Christopher Cooper was last seen around 9:45 p.m. on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. He was traveling southbound on Interstate 55 near Kentwood at the time of his disappearance. The Louisiana State Police received a request to issue the AMBER Alert at approximately 10:45 p.m.
