Billy Ocean Schedules Concerts in Derry, Belfast, and Dublin

Billy Ocean is set to embark on a series of concerts in Ireland. The shows will occur at three key venues: Derry’s Millennium Forum on September 13, Belfast’s Waterfront Hall on September 14, and Dublin’s National Stadium on September 16 and 17.
Billy Ocean’s Music Career and Achievements
Ocean is a Grammy Award-winning singer known for his contributions to reggae music. He gained fame in 1978 after signing with GTO Records. His breakout single, “Love Really Hurts Without You,” ascended to number two on the UK charts and reached number twelve in the US.
In 1985, he performed during the American leg of Live Aid, further solidifying his status in the music industry. The following year, he released the hit “When the Going Gets Tough, The Tough Get Going.” This track became widely recognized as the theme song for the film “Jewel of the Nile,” featuring stars like Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner.
