Infiniti Unveils Three Concepts to Revitalize Brand at Toronto Auto Show

Infiniti made a significant impression at the Canadian International Auto Show by unveiling three innovative concept SUVs. The event took place on February 11, 2026, at Evergreen Brick Works in Toronto. These vehicles aim to breathe new life into Infiniti’s brand while highlighting its commitment to luxury and performance.

Infiniti’s Concept SUVs: Key Highlights

  • QX65 Monograph: A two-row mid-size SUV that indicates the design direction for the all-new QX65. It will be manufactured in Tennessee, with a production model set to debut in spring 2026.
  • Performance Focus: The QX80 Track Spec and Terrain Spec concepts emphasize rugged performance and upscale features.
  • Sales Trends: Infiniti’s sales in Canada dropped by nearly 15% in 2025, selling 5,372 vehicles. However, QX80 sales increased by 11%, with 1,053 units sold during the same period.

QX65 Monograph Details

The QX65 Monograph features a fastback roofline, showcasing a balance of muscular and elegant design elements. Inside, it combines luxury with modern technology, aiming to compete in the burgeoning segment of coupe-like luxury SUVs, alongside models like the Genesis GV80 coupe and the Audi Q8.

Revamping Brand Perception

Ken Hearn, the managing director of Infiniti Canada, highlighted the QX65 Monograph’s unique position in a crowded market, stating it offers “luxury without excess.” This reflects the brand’s strategy to redefine its identity, especially as sales have faced challenges.

Performance-Oriented Concepts

The QX80 Track Spec stands out with its aggressive design and enhanced performance features. Powered by a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 engine, it generates an impressive 650 horsepower and 750 lb-ft of torque—marking the highest output in Infiniti’s history. Its bold aesthetics include a matte black-blue vinyl wrap and 24-inch wheels.

On the other hand, the QX80 Terrain Spec is crafted for adventure enthusiasts. It features off-road capabilities with elevated ride height, proper wheels, and protective shielding for severe terrains. The concept also includes a rooftop-mounted light bar and a convenient pop-up tent for camping.

Advanced Technology Features

Both concepts are equipped with advanced technology. The QX80 Terrain Spec introduces Infiniti’s innovative Invisible Hood View that projects what’s beneath the vehicle directly onto the dashboard display. Additionally, a 3D Around View Monitor aids drivers in navigating challenging terrains.

Future Outlook

Although these concepts appear nearly ready for production, there is currently no official release date for the QX80 Track Spec and Terrain Spec. Hearn expressed optimism that these vehicles will generate excitement and reshape perceptions of Infiniti’s capabilities.

As Infiniti strives to rejuvenate its brand, the Toronto Auto Show marks a crucial step toward establishing a stronger foothold in the competitive automotive landscape.
