Moldova also faced significant power outages, particularly in its capital, Chisinau. Moldovan Energy Minister, Dorin Junghietu, indicated on social media that the loss of electricity lines within Ukraine activated automatic protection systems, leading to power cuts in Moldova. He urged citizens to remain calm as efforts to restore electricity continued.
