Etienne Marasi Pursues Reelection as Mayor

Etienne Marasi, the mayor of Vignory, engaged with local residents on January 9. During this gathering, he shared updates and expressed his intentions for the upcoming election. Residents gathered at the town hall starting at 6:30 PM.
2025 Achievements and Challenges
Marasi reviewed the accomplishments of 2025, notably delays in the renovation of the Auberge. This project is now expected to open around Valentine’s Day, February 14, or by March at the latest. Other significant updates include:
- The closure of the Savory restaurant.
- The opening of the new grocery store, Le Comptoir de Vignory.
- The creation of seven new guesthouses.
Community Engagement
Marasi expressed gratitude towards volunteers who contribute to village activities throughout the year. He welcomed new residents, including:
- Ms. Gardien and Mr. Piot with their daughter.
- Ms. Dubois and her children.
- Mr. and Mrs. Mercier with their three children.
These new families signify the village’s growth and community spirit.
Future Plans
The mayor thanked his municipal team and all municipal employees for their continued support. He confirmed his intention to run for reelection with the same team. However, he also noted the departure of two elected officials from the council.
Efforts are underway to bring in two new candidates, with discussions in progress.
