Boreham Wood Football Club is excited to announce the signing of center back Ollie Kensdale. He joins the club on a permanent basis from Barnet, an EFL League Two side. This addition strengthens Luke Garrard’s squad at Meadow Park.
Ollie Kensdale’s Early Career
Kensdale, a talented defender, began his football journey at Colchester United, his hometown club. He joined their Academy at just seven years old. In 2016, he signed scholarship terms and started gaining experience through various loan spells.
Professional Debut and Rise
During the 2018/19 season, Kensdale made a significant impact at Maldon & Tiptree. He scored his first senior goals and showcased his potential. He later debuted for Colchester in the EFL Trophy, becoming the first player born after 2000 to sign a professional contract with the club.
