In both occurrences, the suspect followed the victims into their garages and employed physical force to steal their belongings. The stolen items included:

  • Ventra cards
  • Cash
  • Purses
  • Shopping bags

The robberies took place at two distinct locations on the same day:

  • 8100-block of West Addison Street at 1:14 p.m.
  • 3200-block of North Newland Avenue at 2:49 p.m.

Suspect Description

The suspect was observed wearing all-black clothing along with a black balaclava-style mask. Chicago police are actively investigating these incidents and have urged women to be vigilant in the area.
