Former Memphis quarterback A.J. Hill is set to join forces with Ryan Silverfield at Arkansas. Hill announced his commitment to the Razorbacks on January 5 via social media. This move comes after Silverfield transitioned from Memphis to Arkansas post the 2025 regular season.

Hill, a freshman, retains four years of eligibility at the collegiate level. During his initial season, he participated in two games, including the Gasparilla Bowl, where he entered the game when the outcome was effectively determined.

Hill’s recruitment was significant, as he was one of the highest-ranked prospects in Memphis history, capturing national attention when he committed to the Tigers in the summer of 2024. His game experience included taking over for an injured Brendon Lewis during a 2025 matchup against UAB, where he delivered a strong performance. Hill completed 13 of 25 passes for 175 yards, achieving one touchdown and one interception.
