The Coral Adventurer has become the focus of an investigation following a tragic incident on its maiden journey. This inquiry involves the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) and Queensland Police after the death of an 80-year-old passenger on October 26.

Suzanne Rees, the deceased, had been enjoying a hike on Lizard Island with other passengers. During the excursion, she separated from the group to take a break. Unfortunately, the cruise ship departed without realizing she was missing.
