Earthquakes Shake Regions North and South of Victor Valley

Residents in the Victor Valley area experienced two noticeable earthquakes this week. These seismic events occurred on both sides of the valley, impacting communities in Kern and San Bernardino counties.
Seismic Activity Near Victor Valley
The first earthquake struck at 8:04 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16. This event registered a magnitude of 3.1 and was centered approximately 4 miles south-southwest of Devore, close to the Glen Helen Raceway and Interstate 210.
The following day, an earthquake with a slightly higher magnitude of 3.2 occurred at 2:01 a.m. on Wednesday, December 17. This quake was located 13 miles east of Little Lake, near the Naval Air Weapons Station in China Lake, Kern County.
