Each of the 64 clubs participating in this round will receive guaranteed payments from the competition’s prize fund, regardless of the match outcome. Additionally, clubs selected for matches broadcast on linear television will earn £80,000, while those appearing exclusively on discovery+ will receive £40,000.
Television selections are made in collaboration with participating clubs, local authorities, and broadcasters. Furthermore, the draw for the fourth round will be broadcast live by TNT Sports prior to the Liverpool vs. Barnsley match on January 12, 2026. These ties will take place during the weekend of February 14 and 15, 2026.
