Family Confirms Missing Kamloops Woman Found Dead

Authorities have confirmed the tragic death of Sheri-Lynn Bissonnette, a woman reported missing from Kamloops. Her family stated she was last seen leaving her home in Aberdeen on November 26 at approximately 9:30 a.m.
Last Known Movements
Bissonnette was reportedly on her way to visit her son, Trevor, in Batchelor Heights. However, she never reached her destination, prompting concerns for her safety.
Investigation and Search Efforts
Following her disappearance, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) provided updates, indicating new information suggesting she may have been in the Surrey area. Despite this lead, details were scarce.
Numerous search efforts took place in the Kamloops area. Family members, well-wishers, and specialized search teams, including Search, Rescue, and Detection K9s (SRD K9s) of British Columbia, actively participated in the efforts to locate her.
Discovery of Her Body
On Monday, December 2, sources confirmed to CFJC that Bissonnette’s body had been found. The police have yet to release further information regarding the circumstances surrounding her death.
