On Monday afternoon, a fire significantly damaged homes in northwest Calgary, leaving residents displaced. The Calgary Fire Department responded to reports of heavy smoke and flames on Panamount Heights shortly after 2:45 p.m.

Upon arrival, firefighters discovered that the blaze had already spread to a neighboring home. As a result, additional firefighting resources were requested. Calgary police were also on the scene to manage traffic disruptions in the area.
