Tadeo Allende: A Potential Recruit for River
Recently, journalist César Luis Merlo reported that River Plate is interested in Tadeo Allende, a forward currently playing for Inter Miami. Allende, aged 26, began his career at Instituto de Córdoba and gained recognition while playing for Godoy Cruz from 2022 to 2023.
Allende is on loan from Celta de Vigo until December 31, 2023. During his tenure at Inter Miami, he has impressed by scoring 16 goals and providing two assists over 35 matches. Notably, Inter Miami is already in negotiations for his permanent transfer after an active season that has seen the team advance to the semifinals of Major League Soccer.
Negotiations with Celta de Vigo
If Allende does not remain with Inter Miami, River Plate could pursue him. The club would need to negotiate with Celta de Vigo, which invested €4.5 million to acquire Allende in January 2024. However, according to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €3 million.
Other Targets: Gianluca Prestianni
Additionally, River Plate is eyeing Gianluca Prestianni, a former player for Vélez Sarsfield, who currently plays for Benfica. Reports indicate that Prestianni is keen to leave Portugal, and River is considering a loan agreement for his transfer.
