Curry secured the highest rating of any defensive end in the nation for the week, with an outstanding score of 92.8. His performance included leading the Big Ten in pass rushing, where he achieved a score of 91.7. This marks the third time this season Curry has earned this accolade.
Igbinosun, a cornerback, also made headlines with his impressive ratings. He achieved an overall defensive grade of 90.6, ranking him as the top Big Ten cornerback for Week 13. This is Igbinosun’s first appearance among Ohio State’s top three players, breaking a trend where cornerbacks had not been featured since earlier in the season.
Thurman, appearing in the top three for the second time this season, excelled as a receiving tight end. His grade of 90.6 not only made him the highest-rated in the nation for his position that week but also included a remarkable run-blocking score of 80.9, which was the best in the Big Ten.
